Vintage 1930s - 1940s Porcelain Bride & Groom Wedding Cake Topper

Offered in this listing is a vintage porcelain bride and groom couple cake topper dating from the 1940s possibly late 1930s.  The bride wears a classic dress fashionable in that era.  The groom is wearing a black tuxedo with tails.  Both have golden blonde hair.  Very good vintage condition showing some slight age--the paint has rubbed on the back of the groom's head and it appears as if the paint has been touched up on the groom's pants leg.   Measures 2 3/4" x 5" tall. 

Item will be shipped insured USPS priority mail delivery; cost of insurance has been included in shipping fees.

Would be great for your wedding, maybe a bride or groomscake.  Also would add a touch of class to any cake/cupcake display.  There are minor blemishes but it is still very nice.  12" plate has two pieces, and the base has a stickly top that secures it to the plate.  I would probably attach it permanently but will leave it up to you.  About 4" tall.

You can choose either of the bouquets.  Each one is lovingly handmade with silk flowers, antique and vintage jewelry, etc.  They are about 8" across.  Two of them have handles that are old chair rungs cut in half.  The other has an old stick as the handle!  I hate plastic!  I can make one to your specifications as well.  I also accept and prefer Propay, another choice of payment through eBay. Each one weighs about 2 lbs.

I am offering a vintage wedding cake topper............from the style of dress my guess is the 1950's.....I thinkit is chalkware but won't say absolutely...........it stands approx. 4 1/2" tall.............has sprigs of Lily of the Valley on each side/ silk?........it is in very good used condition.........the only issue I see is on the grooms pants some of the black as worn/ chipped off.......alittle magic marker would probably take care of that......but I am selling as is............I have the box it was sold it/ part of the label is missing but it was purchased in San diego........
